This webinar will present results from small- and large-scale fire experiments comparing three fire safety measures for upholstered furniture: wool blanket covers on upholstered fabric and two environmentally friendly fire retardants, one newly developed bio-based, and one commercially available. The results indicate that simple and proper measures may increase available egress time in a fire situation.
