New journal paper “Large- and small-scale fire test of a building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) façade system”, link: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.firesaf.2023.104083.
FRIC has studied what happened to the BIPV façade in a large large-scale fire and presents an analysis of the materials in the photovoltaic modules that were tested in the cone calorimeter.
The work is a part of FRIC project 4-4 Building integrated energy systems and smart technology.
The results are published in the scientific journal Fire Safety Journal and are also presented at the 14th International Symposium on Fire Safety Science (IAFSS2023), video recordings of conference presentations may be purchased at the conference website: https://iafss2023.com/.
