Here, Anne is visiting the fire site in Kragerø after the large fire this weekend, together with the Grenland fire and rescue service and DSB. The visit is a part of FRICs project 1-2 on learning from fires.
It is important to be present at the fire site at an early stage, when evaluating fires. We evaluate fires to learn what went right, and what could have been done differently. We can use incidents like this to gain knowledge about what works, so that we in the future know how to best protect wooden buildings and our cultural heritage.
