Welcome to the FRIC webinar on The Fire at Festningen Restaurant!
On the evening of Saturday, February 4, 2023, a fire broke out at Festningen Restaurant in Oslo. No one was injured, but the historical building was completely destroyed.
In this webinar, Fire Inspector and Fire Evaluation Specialist at the Oslo Fire and Rescue Service, Frode Michaelsen, will share insights and experiences from the incident. He will talk about:
- Overview of the incident
- Collaboration with other stakeholders
- The evaluation process in practice
- Follow-up work and key lessons learned

Practical information:
The webinar is free, open to everyone, and will be held in Norwegian. It will begin with a presentation of the project results lasting about 30 minutes, followed by approximately 5–10 minutes of questions and discussion with the speaker.
